The new home ground of Ligue 1 club LOSC Lille Metropole is now the third largest stadium in France and second in French Ligue 1, only Marseille’s home ground has the bigger capacity above it. The stadium was opened in August 2012 and will be a venue for six matches with a quarter-final game of the 2016 UEFA Euro competitions. The Stade Pierre-Mauroy has a seater capacity of 50,186 spectators.
