4. Parc des Princes – 48,712 Capacity
One of the oldest stadiums in France is this fourth biggest stadium Parc des Princes with has a seating capacity of 48,712 spectators for a French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain who have been tenants of the stadium since 1973 though it was opened in July 1897.
The stadium has so far been a venue for the FIFA World Cup competitions twice i.e in 1938 when it hosted three games with Hungary‘s 5-1 semi-final win against Sweden then again in 1998 a time it hosted six games. It will be a venue for five games in the next UEFA Euro competitions in 2016.
