With the new English Premier League season kicking off, we look to see who will be the stand outs this season, This got me thinking about the young talent being put forth this season to prove their worth in the most challenging league known to mankind, the almighty BPL.

But how do we know who to watch? Well, fear not my friends, we have here the top 10 Football Players to watch in the Premier League 2014/15 Season.

10. Nabil Bentaleb – Tottenham Hotspur – age 19

Tottenham Hotspurs promising and upcoming defensive midfielder. Nabil has had 15 games in total (11 starting . He has a a great high pass accuracy, good anticipation of play. apart from his Long shot, which im sure he will work on, Nabil-Bentaleb will be a player to watch out for this season.

9. Adnan Januzaj – Manchester United – age 19

Adnan Januzaj

A young starlet, Adnan Januzaj is able to score and assist at a world class level. He was in the United starting lineup for the first half of the season, then he was used as a substitute the second half. a very active player in offense, Adnan Januzaj is a skillful player with a high pass accuracy, he can shoot very well from distance. he can also play as deep-lying forward.

8. Ross Barkley – Everton – Age 20

Ross Barkley

Attacking midfielder for Everton and England national team. Ross Barkley Played most of the last season, scoring six goals for a midfielder but did not make any assists. great pass accuracy and good at long shots AND tackling, but sadly inconsistent. He needs to improve his creativity, decisions and play anticipation. Barkley is also able to play on the flank too. We will see a different more consistent Ross Barkley this season. a player to keep an eye on

7. Calum Chambers – Arsenal – age 19

Southampton’s Exright fullback. Calum Chambers played half of the season in the starting lineup. He has a Good anticipation of the game, good pass accuracy, can be reliable in defenseChambers needs to improve his attacking skills and consistency . which we will see this season with the Gunners

6. James Ward-Prowse – Southampton – age 19

James Ward-Prowse

A creative central midfielder. James WardProwse played the whole season, but was on as a substitute half of the matches. he is Very accurate with passes, has powerful long shot, a very strong tackler and anticipation is superb.  James Ward-Prowse is a versatile midfielder who can play on the flank as well.

5. John Stones – Everton – age 20

A strong central defender. John Stones appeared in the starting lineup quite often due to the main central defenders being injured, Stones is a  Reliable player, he avoids mistakes at every cost, very accurate with passes. 

4. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – Arsenal – age 20

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is fast inside forward with very good understanding of the game, He is Arsenal’s highly rated youngster. Unfortunately he picked up an injury that did not allow him to play the entire season. However he had a few good games on his return, with both goals and assists. Chamberlain is a very creative player. now that he is back from injury this season we will see him rise to the top.

3. Kurt Zouma – Chelsea – Age 19

Kurt Zouma is a French professional footballer, a centre back for English club Chelsea. In  2014, Zouma was named as one of the ten most promising young players in Europe. A new signing for Chelsea, Zouma put his stamp in the goalscoring books by netting in the capital one cup first round, this was his first game for the Blues.

2. Jordan Rossiter – Liverpool – Age 17

Jordan Rossiter

Jordan Rossiter 17-year-old midfielder is now the second youngest goalscorer for Liverpool following his goal against Middlesbrough, A hidden talented player Liverpool have kept this lad under lock and key, now that he has been unleashed we will see him rise through the ranks.

1. Raheem Sterling – Liverpool – Age 19

Raheem Sterling

Raheem Sterling is only just getting started, as we have seen in previous seasons, Sterling has an amazing ability to run the wings, he has great ball control and his speed is often unmatched, this season he will be watched by many and with Real Madrid on the prowl, Liverpool will be looking to secure this lad.
