The duo racked up a total of 44 goals that season, with Phillips scoring 30 goals during the 1999/00 season and Quinn scoring 14 goals as he played a role of the target man and provided assists to partner Phillips that season. Phillips 30 goals in the 1999-00 season were enough to win him the European Golden boot and become the first English man to win the award.
