5. Hearst Castle
The Hearst Catle was originally designed to be the home of the newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst, this mansion is boastful of many things. After the death of Hearst in 1951, it was included in the California State Park System after being voted towards that by The California Park Commission. Following this, tourists from all around the world are now able to visit Hearst Castle and get a feel of what it is like. It rests on acreage of 127 and its magnificent gardens are a site to behold. There are both outdoor and indoor swimming pools as well as a movie theatre.
