9. Commerzbank-Arena – 52,300 Capacity
The stadium has had many tenants but has been the home ground of Eintracht Frankfurt since May 1925 when the stadium was opened. Commerzbank-Arena was also one of the venues for the FIFA World Cup in 2006 has it hosted five games all with a capacity of 48,000 though it now has a 52,300 seater capacity and is now the ninth on the list of the Top 10 Biggest Stadiums in The Germany Bundesliga.
The stadium is commonly known as the Waldstadion that means the Forest Stadium. Though Eintracht Frankfurt has it’s offices at the located at the stadium premises, the stadium not only hosts football matches as it has so far hosted several musicians e.g Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Madonna, Prince, Tina Turner, Bon Jovi, Justin Timberlake…etc
