Coming in at number five is former Manchester United midfielder George Best. The Irish man played notably as a midfielder for Manchester United and Northern Ireland. The absence of players like George Best from the FIFA World Cup will never be forgotten as they would have added a lot of excitements in the prestigious tournament if they had participated. In 1982 Northern Ireland qualified for the final round of the FIFA World Cup, well it was unfortunate that Best could not play as his dreams of playing in the World Cup where shuttered as he was a very addictive alcoholic.

In 2005 it was unfortunate to hear that Best passed away before his 60th Birthday.
