8. Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton
The first and original SAS, Shearer and Sutton built a solid strike organization at Blackburn Rovers in the 1994-95 season which won the Premier League title for the club. The late spring of 1994 saw a youthful Sutton joining Rovers from Norwich for a record £5 million. This choice by administrator Kenny Dalglish paid rich profits as the SAS pair scored 49 goals (34 by Shearer, 15 by Sutton) between them to seal Rovers‘ first association title since 1914.
