It took the Hungarian marksman 50 seconds to score his first goal of his hat-trick in Hungary’s 6-1 win against Bulgaria . Scored his second goal after 6 minutes of play and completed his hat-trick in th 54th minute ,Tichy scored a brace and Solymosi scoring in th 12th minute for Hungary. Sokolov in th 64th scored the only goal for Bulgaria. Albert who played his entire club career for Ferencvaros ,would go on to win the Ballon d’Or in 1967.
