It is originally acted in Japanese language. An old man who is the main character earns his living by selling bamboo. One day the old man came across a princess named as Kaguya who was later proposed after becoming of age. She demanded five wedding gifts from five men who failed to deliver her demands. The emperor of Japan proposed as well.
